Admissions

minimum requirements

  • Minimum grade average of 3.0 (out of a 4.0 scale) for all upper-division undergraduate wor.k
  • A minimum score of 1000 on the GRE (verbal and math combined) is recommended. However, applicants with scores below a 1000 will be considered if their GPA sufficiently demonstrates a potential for success in graduate school.
  • Statement of purpose and three letters of recommendation.
  • Certified occupational therapist or an occupational therapist who is a graduate of a World Federation of Occupational Therapy School.
  • Documentation of OT certification (required for International students is applicable).
  • International students must hold a baccalaureate degree equivalent to a baccalaureate in the USA.
  • International students must have a minimum of either 550 on paper-based or 80 on the internet-based TOEFL, 6 on the IELTS or 77 on the MELAB. Some students may be exempt from this requirement. Contact the department for further information.
